The Geographic Information System (GIS) is becoming more common in the development of our society. EYCON is now offering GIS and WebGIS course which will be conducting under experienced GIS staff.Course will provide comprehensive instructions in the underlying concepts and principles of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Web GIS technology and its application to the design and analysis of geospatial data. Geographic Information Systems, GIS, is a rapidly evolving technology involving the study of spatial (geographic) location of features on the Earth's surface and the relationships between them. The focus of this course is a fundamental understanding of Spatial Data Acquisition, Geoprocessing, Visualization, and Querying of Spatial Data.Students are trained to become proficient in usage of ESRI ArcGIS 9.x software through extensive computer lab sessions.
